Please contact us if you have further questions! All classes, except for Pre-K, can be taken a la carte or half/full days. Pre-K can be half or full days!

Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Cedar Park run from 9:00-2:30pm. All students rotate between five course classes each day, to include Character Building.

Thursdays in Cedar Park run from 9:00-2:30pm. From 9:00-12:00pm, students participate in STEAM courses. Families may choose just one or all classes offered each Thursday.

Tuesday Pre-K-6th Course Descriptions:

Pre-K with Mrs. Rodriguez and Mrs. Haker

  • Welcome to Pre-K! I’m looking forward to another year of learning through books, songs, poems and imaginative play. Our Christ-centered curriculum offers students a well-rounded experience by incorporating concepts in language arts, math, science and social studies. Students will build their understanding of numbers and letters through hands-on activities. They will also explore the beauty of God’s creation as they are introduced to map skills and geography. Science lessons will focus on exploring the living things in their everyday world. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to learn and practice basic Spanish phrases throughout the year.

K-5/6 Life Science 2 with Mrs. Harper

  • This year we will explore the world around us by learning about simple machines and inventions. Students will experiment hands on with things such as levers, pulleys, motion, gravity and more. We will study advances in communication, transportation and technology. The course will cover a deep dive into famous scientists and the theories they created that still impact our world today. To conclude each semester, students will apply the concepts they have learned by completing projects using simple machines and becoming an inventor themselves. 

K-5/6 PE with Mr. Haynes

  • Students will explore all major sports and fun related games while improving fundamental gross and fine motor skills through dribbling, catching, throwing, striking, kicking and movement skills. Sportsmanship, teamwork and cooperation will be emphasized while learning sports lessons and exciting ways to “play”.

K-5/6 Spanish with Mrs. Hartman

  • Hola!! Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!! My name is Senora Hartman, and I am so excited to be your child’s Spanish teacher on Tuesdays at The Rock. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and I can’t wait to embark on this amazing journey of teaching them so many fun things in one of my favorite languages. We will be using the Sonrisas curriculum, which has been used by Senora Rodriguez. Returning students will be familiar with this curriculum, and I know they will be of great assistance to our new students. This year we will learn about different areas around the world where Spanish is spoken. Students will learn days of the week, months of the year, seasons, the alphabet, conversational Spanish and so much more. We will use songs, dances, art, and various other things to make this a fun and exciting learning environment. I will always encourage, invite, or ask for volunteer students to help with songs, oral presentations, etc, however, it is not required. I will take into consideration any students that may have special needs or require extra assistance, as I want all students to feel at ease. Learning a second language may sound hard or scary to some, but I promise to do my best to make it a fun, loving and enjoyable journey for all.

K-5/6 Art with Mrs. Raynor

  • Artist Spotlight: Students will review the Elements of Art, while studying a monthly artist or artwork. Additional lessons will include perspective, movement, and a 3D project such as clay or wire sculpting.

K-5/6 Life Skills with Mrs. Marengo

  • Students will learn age appropriate life skills during class and apply them at home. Each class will feature a different life skill including but not limited to common household chores, personal safety, money skills, and time management. Students will gain confidence and independence throughout the year. They will be encouraged to take personal responsibility for themselves.

Character Building

  • A walk through the Bible, exploring the life of Jesus through the Scriptures and geography.

Nutrition Science with Ms. Reuel

  • Hello, I’m excited to teach all about nutrition. As someone that has lived in six states and four countries, and traveled to over 20 countries in my past, I’ve experienced many different foods and nutrition ideas as well as many ingredients. I have a passion for nutrition and teaching so I’ve also studied it on the side as well as even dog and cat nutrition. I will be teaching your children about every ingredient in our grocery stores here in the USA, what they do for us or to us, how they have changed, through generations, how they differ in other countries, what foods are in other countries, what benefits or damage we get from all the foods that we eat, and what whole food verses processed food means. I’ll also teach about different foods healing properties, food nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, as well as how all food interacts with our bodies. I’ll be using the internet and some books of mine for teaching information sources. Please come and learn all about nutrition.

Japanese Culture/Language Intro with Ms. Reuel

  • Hello all, I’m Ms. Reuel and I love teaching children the knowledge God has blessed me with. This year I’ll be teaching  as well as other subjects. I lived in Japan for a total of 10 years and my children are half Japanese. I lived as a Japanese house wife and mother. I taught English to Japanese people while there and gave birth to both of my children there. I learned how to cook from a Japanese mother and was fully immersed in the culture. I want to teach American Christian families about all the cultural things that I experienced while there and teach them some basic language. I will NOT be teaching that Shinto, Buddhism, or any ethno-religious aspect that counters God’s Word are okay. Everything will be taught with prayer and a passion to guide children toward Christ and His truth. I will also teach how to tell the gospel message to Japanese people in case they ever have an opportunity. I’ll be doing interactive learning as well with experiencing Japanese articles or foods. Each lesson will be rich with role-play, new vocabulary, and include physical things to see that are from Japan. We hope to see you there. 
  • The students will be given a new phrase and a few vocabulary words to plug in to that phrase each class, they will be given an internationally practiced methodology of hear and repeat and acting out life circumstances in role play to memorize speedily. Each class will be a new life circumstance and a cultural lesson.
  • All classes should come with pencils, pencil sharpeners, highlighters, ringed notebooks, paper and category dividers. 
  • Japanese classes also need to buy vocabulary cards on rings

Conversational Spanish with Mrs. Rodriguez

  • For the upcoming school year, we will be partnering with Sonrisas Spanish to bring you a fun filled Spanish learning experience. Through the application of Sonrisas Spanish students will have the opportunity to engage in three modes of communication interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational to increase both verbal and written skills. Students will be given opportunities throughout each lesson to engage in conversation, provide and obtain information, and express feelings and opinions. They will be asked to present information, concepts, and ideas to both listeners and readers. Students will also be asked to engage in meaningful communication that reinforces and develops their knowledge of other disciplines through language driven, content-based lessons. Each thematic unit aligns with an essential question that will connect students to their use of language in an intentional and meaningful way. The following is an example of a thematic unit, How do I experience the weather, climate, and seasons of my environment? Our Sonrisas curriculum we will help students acquire the language by providing comprehensible input in Spanish using gestures, illustration, everyday objects, artwork, and more. ¡ Vamos hablar Español!

Acting/Improv 3 with Mr. Haynes

  • This “next level” class will expand upon key vocal and body techniques of acting, leading to more effective public speaking and witty improvisation. Students will grow in confidence and creativity through fun games, skits and scripts, and collaborate with peers to develop their own scripts. The year will progress to the exploration of video and editing production, and their own short films.

Photography & Yearbook Design with Ms. James

  • This Photography & Yearbook Design course is offered at the Cedar Park campus on Tuesdays for MS and HS. This course is designed to develop students’ skills in photography and yearbook design by providing experiences in selected aspects of yearbook production. The first semester will mainly focus on basic photography skills, digital camera settings, and practicing photographing school events while introducing basic digital design skills. During the second semester, students will learn the basic process and principles of designing a yearbook and develop skills such as, writing captions and headlines, digital designing, and use technology software for media production. This course supports student’s development as writers, photographers, editors, independent users of technology and as responsible contributing members of the TREA community. Level 2+ and returning students will have the opportunity to participate in the completion of the yearbook and have the option to sign up to help photograph campus events, edit final photos, and help photograph student portraits for the yearbook. The school yearbook will be designed and completed during the school year, and final orders will be placed by April. K-5/6 PE with Mr. Haynes

  • Come! Vamos hablar español! Let’s take a journey to other parts of the world where the language of Spanish is spoken. Students will learn the language through dance, music, art and reading just to name a few. We will listen to stories, learn many songs, and keep an ongoing vocabulary list. We will build our skills with bi-weekly lesson plans taken from Sonrisas Elementary Spanish Curriculum. For our returning and older students, we will continue with Sonrisas Level 2. Students will learn different cultures and customs, while focusing on conversation with each other. So come along, y vamos hablar español! 

K-5/6 Science with Mrs. Raynor

  • Exploring Creation through Zoology: Students will learn about life through creation. Students will learn to identify animals through observation and documentation (journal entry). Objective: To teach students how to identify and categorize animals in the animal kingdom. Students will learn about the complexities of life and nature through a creation-based lens.

K-5/6 Art with Ms. Valentine

  • Step into the vibrant world of creativity as we journey through the history of art—from the Renaissance brilliance of Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci to the peaceful brushstrokes of modern icons like Bob Ross. In this hands-on class, students will explore different art movements, techniques, and artists that have shaped the world, creating their own masterpieces inspired by each era. Don’t worry if art isn’t “your thing”—God has created each of us to be creative in our own way. Whether you love drawing, painting, storytelling, or simply exploring ideas, there’s a place for you here. This class is about discovering beauty, expressing yourself, and learning how art connects us through the ages and to the Creator of all the ages.

Thursday Pre-K-6th STEM Course Descriptions:

Pre-K with Mrs. Luevano

  • Welcome to PreK with Mrs. Luevano! In our class we will cover many topics that introduce foundational knowledge and skills to prepare for kindergarten. We will cover a letter of the week, implementing a basic intro to phonics and penmanship. Math will include number identification, counting and learning all our basic shapes through hands on activities.  Children and adults alike memorize and learn timeless truths by song! So in our class, singing and music will play a big part throughout our day ,whether it is to get our bodies moving or learning fun facts about what we are learning! Every week, our day will consist of math, reading/writing, Bible, art/music, science, geography, Spanish and activities that will cater to our kid’s fine and gross motor development. 

K-5/6 Art with Mrs. Hartman

  • Welcome to STEM Art, where creativity has no limits!! We will introduce our students to a variety of art media and techniques – painting, weaving, clay, printing, as well as integrating recyclables and natural materials into our own personal masterpieces. Throughout the year we will learn new vocabulary, the importance of following steps, teamwork, individuality and patience.

K-5/6 Math in Home Economics with Mrs. Marengo

  • Each month, there will be a designated “room” of the house that will focus on. We will use various techniques in each “room” to explore various math topics and hands on activities that will connect math to the real world.

K-5/6 Reader’s Theatre with Mrs. Robison

  • Welcome to Reader’s Theatre! Last year this class was a combined K-5/6 class with 2 teachers. It will be the same this year for those students who take a double block of Reader’s Theater. Students will gain exposure to various scripts and literary works, expressing their creativity through voice, body movement, and song, using some specific carols and hymns, scenes from the Bible, plays, skits, various theater and acting games, and even humor and improvisation. For the 2nd block of Reader’s Theatre students will have additional activities related to what we work on in 1st block, including but not limited to phonics/reading instruction for students who need extra reading practice and gain confident or they may choose to work on props related to our skits/plays with the art teacher. We’ll be able to guide the students accordingly and structure all these elements within the class once we get to know them better, their interests and abilities. K-2 students choosing guitar for 2nd block, there’s an option for trying in the fall then proceeding with ‘double’ Reader’s Theater in the spring as well. We understand smaller hands and interest levels for younger ages may not be ready for guitar but we are willing for them to give it a try. 

K-5/6 Innovation Lab with Mrs. Hatch

  • Welcome to the Innovation Lab, where imagination meets ingenuity! In this hands-on, project-based learning experience, students will explore the world of STEM through the lens of children’s literature. Each lesson begins with a story that sparks curiosity and sets the stage for an engaging STEM challenge. Students will use the engineering design process—ask, imagine, plan, create, test, and improve—to solve real-world problems inspired by the stories they read. Along the way, they’ll develop essential skills like creative thinking, collaboration, problem solving, and resilience, just like real engineers and scientists.

K-5/6 Physiology & Nutrition with Mrs. Raynor

  • Through movement and research, this class will create an environment to study how our body works through exercise, activities, and journal entries. Each month, we will move through a new system of the body to learn how God has intricately made the human body. 

K-5/6 Guitar with Mr. Dean Prater

  • Rent Guitar or Purchase Guitar. Each student will need a 1” 3-ring binder for this course. An electronic tuner is recommended.
  • K-2: Beginners will start by getting familiar with the instrument and building a strong foundation of proper technique. Will learn to play both single notes and basic chord shapes with basic knowledge, utilizing chord diagrams and tablature diagrams, and attempting to master some simple familiar tunes, all while building their confidence and learning to enjoy the process.
  • 3-5/6: Beginners in this course will start by getting familiar with the instrument and building a strong foundation of proper technique. Students who already have an introduction to their instruments and have learned the basics of the beginner course will expand their understanding of chords and theory while being introduced to extended left-hand and right-hand techniques.

Thursday Upper School Course Descriptions:

Art & Art History with Mrs. Raynor

  • In this year’s Art History (Part II) with The Master and His Apprentices, we’ll begin at the Renaissance and continue to current day artwork. Monthly themes will coincide with varying projects.  If electing to take this course for high school credit, 120-180 hours of coursework is anticipated, equating to approximately 3-4 hours a week at home. Class time will include a lecture and topic introduction, and a technique practice related to the following week’s project. Take-home work and at-home practice drills will be a large part of each student’s grade, along with any major art projects. 

Poetry Writing with Mrs. Rochelle

  • This course will teach students how to expand basic reading & writing techniques in the genre of poetry reading & writing. By learning about themes & situations, word choice, literary techniques, form & sound, comparisons, rhyme & rhythm, students will learn the fundamentals of poetry writing and gain the skills to begin to think like a poet.

Biology with Mrs. Rochelle

  • This course will teach students the science of Biology. Through in class experiments and discovery activities students will learn about the world God created from the cellular and chemical level to the amazing plants and animals that surround us. 
  • The teacher will provide a lab based environment where students have opportunity for hands-on learning. Eschatology with Ms. Reuel

  • Hello, I’m so excited to offer this class on eschatology (study of end times) with a literal biblical view to understand the symbolism and will use scripture to define scripture. As we get nearer and nearer to the return of Christ, I wish to edify your children with being made aware of how Jesus will make all things work together in the end. They will also be able to look for the signs of the times and be given a new level of urgency to spread the gospel. I’ll be teaching the different views on post tribulation, mid-trib, and pre-trib views. With this I won’t teach in any as absolutes. I’ll also explain the different views of both two well known biblically sound preachers, John Piper and John McArthur concerning this study. I’ll be teaching on the physical millennial reign as factual as well as teach other views concerning that. I’ll be reading through the books of Daniel and Revelation in the areas of end times prophecy. I’ll also read all other verses and passages in other Bible books that connect the dots to understanding and go through all the prophecies in end times. I’ll use gotquestions.org and the 66 books of the Holy Bible as the main source of curriculum for this class. Please pray that the Holy Spirit guide me well to teach soundly the truth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Government/Economics with Mrs. Marengo

  • High School students taking this class for credit will focus on American Government in the Fall Semester and Economics in the Spring Semester for a half credit each. Students will be expected to utilize google classrooms to prepare for class.
  • Middle School students will create an interactive notebook as we learn about Texas. We will work on a wide variety of activities and make a unique display of knowledge about our home state. We will explore Texas geography, history, government, & economics. We hope to plan several field trips during the year which may include: The Texas Capitol, the Texas Cemetery, and the LBJ library.

Advanced Guitar with Mr. Dean Prater

  • Rent Guitar or Purchase Guitar. Each student will need a 1” 3-ring binder for this course. An electronic tuner is recommended.
  • Advanced students dive deep into specialized genres of their choice. Lessons focus on mastering applied music theory and developing confidence in performance—whether solo or in a group setting. Song-writing and arrangement coaching will be provided, if desired.
