K-5/6 Courses:
STEM & Robotics with Mrs. Ramirez
- This hands-on course invites young learners to explore the exciting world of STEM through robotics and basic circuits; combining creativity, problem-solving, and foundational science and engineering skills. Alongside robotics, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of circuits—discovering how electricity flows, experimenting with components like LEDs, switches, and batteries, and designing their own functional circuit projects. Through collaborative projects and guided challenges, students will strengthen their critical thinking and teamwork skills while gaining confidence in using real-world technology.
Character Building with Ms. Turner
- A walk through the Bible, exploring the life of Jesus through the Scriptures and geography.
Garden Exploration with Mr. Lowski
- We will get our hands dirty while nurturing your children’s curiosity in the garden. Each week we will learn about a new topic from plant regeneration to soil health. Then we will be looking back at the progress that we have accomplished in the previous weeks, building a plant journal to take our hypotheses through to discovery. As the amazing Fred Rogers once said “It’s good to be curious about many things. You can grow ideas in the garden of your mind.“
Aquatic Science with Mr. Lowski
- Who really understands the nitrogen cycle anyways? How do you “balance the environment”? In this class we will build our own working nitrogen cycle and learn why pollution can wreak havoc in the world. Starting from leaves we will architect a balanced ecosystem resulting in a fish tank that feeds itself, maybe even bringing a prehistoric creature to life! With curious minds loving a loving GOD, anything is possible.
