For the 2018-2019 year at all campuses we will have ONE monthly attribute verse we all practice in morning assembly and throughout our daily lives. Then in Character Building classroom time, teachers may challenge the older grades to bring in verses they have studied and memorized that focus on the same “fruit” that month.
This is our school-wide verse for the year:

Galatians 5:22 “But the Spirit produces the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.”
Monthly Verses:
September:
LOVE
John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another:just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

JOY
I Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances: for this is God’s will for you in Jesus.”

PEACE
Philippians 4:6-7 “Don’t’ worry about anything; instead pray about everything.  Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Jesus.”
December:
PATIENCE
James 1:19-20 “Understand this brothers and sisters; you must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.  Anger does not produce the righteousness God desires for us.”
