Hope you all are enjoying our hot, hot June! Our little pool in our backyard is a lovely 92 degrees right now!
Changes to Science/Art Camp next week!
We have a super fun week of exploring and learning ahead of us! Mrs. Nikel and Mrs. Raynor have been working hard to ensure that the kids will have a blast! They’re exploring pollination, flowers, bees, nature, and art! Be prepared to taste some honey and get a little sweaty outside!
This camp has been moved to Faith Baptist (our Monday location) in Round Rock. There are still spots left! Sign up here!
End of June and July Camps!
We still have several camps on the books ahead!
Join Mrs. Klemmer June 27th-July 1st, 9am-2pm, to learn about how to author and illustrate your own book! In the mornings they will be learning about writing children’s books and in the afternoons they will be learning Folklorico dancing! This camp is at our NWRR/Brushy Creek campus.
July 11-15th and July 18th-22nd, 9am-2pm, are at our Brushy Creek campus, too! Both weeks we will be getting to learn about Christian Heroes–men and women who have served God faithfully and well! We will also be doing outdoor summer activities (plan to have a swimsuit one day!). Students can participate in full-days, half-days, or pick and choose days! We won’t be repeating subjects between the two weeks so you could even come both Wednesdays, or something like that!
July 25th-July 29th from 10:00-2:00pm will be our Fiddle Camp at our Round Rock campus! Students may also choose to participate in Guitar only, from 11:45-2, if they wish!
This same week, we will also have a repeat of Mrs. Klemmer’s Children’s book and Folklorico camp on our SWA Campus!
August Camps!
August 1st-5th, 9am-2pm, will be for the older students! Join Mrs. A in the morning for Creative Writing and Mrs. Steele in the afternoon for Study Skills classes! This will be on our Brushy Creek/NWRR campus!
Finally join Mrs. Frankenberg (me!) August 8th-12th, 9am-2pm, in a super fun Epic Disasters camp on our CPW campus! We will be exploding things and creating earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, buildings, and more! Maybe there will be a little (controlled) explosion, too. Upper School students who have taken this class with me are welcome to join for free as volunteers–all hands on deck!
This is a hands-on class where we might get a little messy so put on your hole-y shirts and shorts (and maybe some bug-spray and sunscreen) and get ready to get sandy, jello-y, and sweaty!
Yearbook Pick-Up Reminder!
We will also have Yearbook Pick-up that week, August 8th-12th! Tuesday morning, August 9th from 9-12 will be a Yearbook Signing morning, but they’ll be available all week while we are on campus for pick-up!
