Welcome to the first edition of the News Corner!
Come here weekly to learn what’s new and to find out pertinent information for the coming school week.
Regarding Google Classroom:
Your student should have been added to Google Classrooms that are relevant to them. If you need help email firstname.lastname@example.org
Your student should have activated their @therockenrichmentacademy.org email address. If you need help with that, also email us!
Classroom is where you will find all class-specific work and weekly posts about what the students did during their day!
Regarding Health Screenings Tickets:
You now have TWO options for completing this ticket. Either you can print off and have your student hand-deliver a paper ticket OR you can choose to fill out an online form for each student each class day!
The online form can be done on your phone’s browser or if you download the Google Classrooms app, that should link you to it! All Google Classrooms have the link at the top of their page. There’s also a link ON the Health Screenings page that is linked above.
Carpool Changes for this school year:
In order to uphold social distancing procedures, ALL students will be dropped off and picked up via carpool on ALL campuses.
For RR/Mondays this door will be found on the east side of the building
For CPW/Tuesday this will be at along the parking spots parallel to the playground
For CPE/Wednesday this will be on the east side of the building in the parking lot that runs parallel to the main gym entrance
- Pre-K Students at RR can be dropped off by the doors nearest to the center of the building on the west side of the building. They can also walk in with an older sibling.
- Pre-K students at CPW can either be walked to the front door and a teacher can take them to their classroom or you can walk them to the classroom until they are comfortable with a front-door drop off. They are also allowed to walk in with an older sibling.
Class Highlight of the Week!
Did you know that we now offer STEM Science and Nutrition Classes on Thursdays? This is a great supplement for our K-6th students! Our first week was last week, so there’s plenty of time to join!
