Highlights from last week-

Everyone got to play with centripetal force, using marbles and a cup. We explored how water is cohesive and reviewed adhesion vs cohesion.

We continued to work on debates. Students in 5/6 and 3/4 will be debating the resolution “Zoos should be be abolished” is the final debate so those students who are in the final teams can begin to prepare research for their debate topics.

*K-1 working hard on finishing our top-secret Mother’s Day projects
*1-2 Finishing our lost in space projects
*3-6 We are creating the backdrop for Jonah and the whale that Mrs. Larsen is putting on at the Tuesday campus.

*Character building 1-2
We watched a video on how cookie monster handles discipline and self-control.
We played “broken telephone”. Understanding how our words can easily be misunderstood, we find it’s all the more important to watch what words come out of our mouth‘s.

Parents who signed up for ACH bank draft, your final draft for this school year (May tuition) will process at the beginning of this next week. Thank you, and have an amazing weekend!

Also, this week Mrs. Kaderli will be out helping family in Dallas but we will have fun in P.E. with Mrs. Boyda. Mrs. Boyda has experience teaching kid’s fitness and will be our new Friday Wilderness Science teacher too! We are excited to welcome her to the team!
