This week in Music we started the morning with all students singing Rudolf, complete with antlers and a red lit up nose. Grades 3-6 put on white gloves to make their bell choirs more realistic. We passed plastic cups for a rhythm game to “Sleigh Ride.” Some grades sang “Up on the Housetop” using glockenspiels. We tried to “spread Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear”.
Rudolph the Red nosed reindeer
During character building grades 3-6 ran through the play. We discussed character traits of the boy and consequences.
Homework:. January will be all about the Musical scheduled on Jan. 30, so lines need to be memorized over the break! Please work on your chosen costume, and for grades 5-6, practice recorders!
Have a Merry Christmas and thank you for all the sweet cards and gifts. They are beautiful reminders of how special our students are.
With our 5/6 grader Haley who dressed “most festive”!
