Field Day – Wed. May 24, 9-12

Field Day

When: May 24th, 9am-12pm

Where: Brushy Creek Lake Park

3300 Brushy Creek Rd.

Cedar Park, TX 78613

Field Day will be held for both RR and CP campuses on Wed. May 24th, 9am-12pm, at Brushy Creek Park. Currently enrolled children are to wear their TREA t-shirts and may be dropped off no earlier than 9:00am, picked up no later than 12:15. Parents and siblings are welcome to participate, and parents need to stay if younger siblings are going to participate.

We’ll have a pavilion reserved to gather for water and snacks next to the splash pad and playscape. Traditional field day games will begin at 9:30 and students will rotate through stations by grade level with their homeroom teachers.

If you have a currently enrolled child and are unable to stay at the park, please let me know. Children must stay with an adult (parent or teacher) at all times. Families have the option of participating in some or all of the activities, but I do ask that you let me know by replying to this email if your child will attend and if you will be dropping off or staying at the park.

All children attending without their parents will need to stay with the following teachers at all times:
K/1- Mrs. Klemmer, Mrs. Larsen
1/2 – Mrs. L and Shihan Yokum
3/4 – Mrs. Cecil and Mrs.Rodriguez
5/6 – Ms. Martin and Mrs. Turner
Mrs. Kaderli will also be on site to work with the kiddos.

We’ll have races and other fun events followed by a snack and water break. If you’d like to send any special snacks with your kiddo, feel free to. I will provide water and mostly fruit. Also, it may be muddy so it may be a good idea to wear an older pair of tennis shoes. Also, kiddos may wear a swimsuit under their T-shirt and shorts for the splash pad. Please send a backpack with a change of clothes, sun block and a towel if they’d like to get wet.

Parents, I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful cards, notes and gifts you so generously gave! I look forward to getting everyone together Wed. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Blessings, Angela Turner, Director
