I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Just a reminder that tuition is due today for our Round Rock families if you are paying by check or cash. Mrs. L. will have a collection box on the stage in the sanctuary. (For our CP families, if you did not turn tuition in last week, you still have through this Wednesday). As a reminder that due to a change with my son’s school, I unfortunately am not able to arrive on Mondays until closer to 9:30. Please feel free to contact me via phone if you need to speak with me in the morning. Also, looking ahead at the RR schedule, we are in session for a full day of classes on President’s Day, February 20.
I really appreciate all texts and emails letting me know if your child will need to be late and/or absent. This week your children will discuss the plan for the week of Valentine’s Day with their homeroom teachers, and all students will begin a related project in Art. Plans may vary for grades 3-6 regarding the exchange of Valentine cards, so please keep an eye out for information via email from those homeroom teachers. All K-2 students will definitely need to have Valentine cards (inexpensive store-bought is fine) addressed to each student in their homeroom. The names of the students in each class at both locations are listed at the bottom of this email.
Also, check out this fun opportunity starting March 26th, 5 Sundays from 4-5 pm for only $35 total! https://runsignup.com/Race/TX/CedarPark/HealthyKidsRunningSeriesCedarParkTX
CALLING ALL PRAYER WARRIORS! Please pray for the Jones family. The father of one of our RR kinder students is having chronic issues related to hydrocephalus and chiari malformation. He currently has a baseball sized pocket of fluid at the base of his skull, and prayers for relief and to return to a normal routine in life would be appreciated. Please also pray for wisdom for the doctors as he could possibly have another shunt placed in spine. This device would siphon off excess CSF near the brain to the abdomen. In all of this, sweet little Carson needs prayer too as he’s worried about his daddy.
Thank you TREA families for all you do to make the program so special and to support our fellow families.
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
