Hello TREA families! I hope this email finds you already enjoying the weekend and this beautiful weather! I wanted to extend an opportunity to our families. I coach bootcamps at Infinite Eight Fitness in Cedar Park and declared 2017 as a year of giving. Each month we feature a different charity or organization in need, and we actually began last December collecting items for children in need at the Texas Baptist Children’s Home.
This month the focus is on a local animal shelter in need. I thought it would be neat to share with TREA families as there are many ways to get involved in caring for our little furry friends who don’t have a voice of their own, and to support the people that care for them. Plus, it’s always a great way to raise awareness among growing young minds. Below is a list of items the shelter needs to help it run more efficiently, along with links on how to get involved or volunteer. Please don’t feel obligated to donate in anyway, but should you feel led to I can collect items during the school weeks up through the last Wednesday in January. After our free community Boot Camp on the last Saturday in January, I will deliver the items to the shelter. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for being such a special part of TREA!
