Hello TREA families! We had a great week and it’s hard to believe we just have one more week before Christmas break. Next week will be festive for sure! Not only will teachers continue to enrich your kiddos lives with the sharing of God’s word and our classroom lessons, but we will have some extra holiday cheer with a popcorn party at the end of lunch. (Popcorn will be gluten free and non-GMO, but feel free to send your child with an alternative treat if you prefer). I’m also excited to announce that teachers and kiddos are welcome to wear an “ugly” or festive sweater of their choice, and perhaps even enter into a “most festive” or “ugliest” sweater contest. There will be reindeer games during PE too and a day full of joy no doubt as we share the real meaning of Christmas.
Also, below are more pics from our family fun run and community service project, compliments of one of our wonderful TREA mom. (Thanks Julie!) We raised enough money to make 52 blessing bags but stretched that to make nearly 70! Thank you so much for your wonderful support! If you’d like to see a breakdown of the costs of items purchased and exactly what items your $10 donation provided, I would be happy to provide those details. Furthermore, as your children share their blessing bags with the homeless, please email me or post stories or pictures on our Facebook. The faces of our TREA kiddos after serving the less fortunate will just warm your heart!
Don’t forget we have our Choir Concert THIS SUNDAY December 11th!!!! (for students in all grades who RSVP’d).
Location:Cottonwood Creek Nursing Home
1500 Cottonwood Creek Trail, Cedar Park at 3 pm. Arrive at 2:55 and wear TREA t-shirts and a festive (like an elf, angel or Santa) hat!
For those of you who didn’t see the post, please pray for one of our RR kiddos who will have an MRI of her brain Monday to rule out fluid on the brain or a tumor. Her pediatric ophthalmologist found optical nerve swelling, and extra prayer to cover this sweet little girl will be powerful.
I’d love to pray for your family too. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Thank you for everything you do to make TREA even more special each week, and thank you for sharing your precious kiddos with us!
