Happy Friday all and Happy Veteran’s Day to all those who have served! Just to recap this past Wednesday in Cedar Park, we wrapped up our Candy Swap and the candy collected will be handed out during a Veteran’s Day parade. Thank you kiddos and parents for your support in not only making healthier choices, but in sharing with others.

Mrs. L was out again, still a sore after her car accident, but she will be back next week. I know she missed the kiddos and thank you for your prayers! In Art at both locations this week your children decorated beautiful get well cards. What compassionate hearts they have! In Cedar Park, kiddos worked on crosshatching (shading). I loved being in the classroom with them!

Also, a sweet lady named Linda that I train formed The Lost Closet, a ministry that focuses on helping women who were rehabilitated in prison, most from drug abuse. During rehabilitation, many of these women gain weight and return home with very little clothing. She is in need of used women’s shirts and pants size 14+ and up. If you know of any used clothing that could be donated, I would be happy to pass along donations. Thank you!

Next week will be the last full week before Thanksgiving break. Wow, the time has just moved so quickly. With that being said, enjoy every precious moment you have this Friday and weekend. I hope you find a blessing in every circumstance! I am thankful for your family! Rudy
