Music April 27 and K/1 Character

I can’t believe how fast time is flying by! I’m very proud of the students and all their hard work memorizing lines, solos, choral singing, etc. They have been so fun to work with. I love the enthusiasm! For grade 5/6: We will have an instrument show and tell next week. Some of the students volunteered to bring instruments from home and teach their classmates about them next week. Any 5/6 student is welcome to bring an instrument they are learning.
Also, a few 5/6 girls volunteered to bring a bandana for choreography for one of the Fish Tales songs. Don’t forget the bandanas next week. We will work on the bandana dance after our instrument show and tell.

Thank you to all who have volunteered to help bring props for Fish Tales. We still need more fake ficus trees. Also, if anyone has access to large logs or tree trunks for kids to sit on, please let me know. Thanks!

K/1 Character: We varied from our schedule and read one of my favorite authors, Bill Peet, and the Dragon who lost his head, full of hidden lessons about finding friends even where we least expect it, even in a dragon.
Have a great week!
