P.E./Health Sep.9

Hello TREA families! Our second week flowed smoothly and thank you parents for getting your children into their classrooms on time, helping with their preparedness and for your cooperation in carpool. We are defining boundaries and learning to transition more efficiently each week, and your children are settling in nicely.

During morning drop off, please help make sure your children wait inside the car until I open the door for them so they are not jumping out near other moving cars. I will get to you as soon as I can, and thank you for your patience. Also please help remind the children that they are not to be released to you in the afternoon until a teacher escorts them to the car or grants approval if you are walking up.

In P.E./Health this week, we continued with teambuilding fitness games and bootcamp style exercises, focusing on proper push-up form. We also began discussion about “garlic”. As our monthly nutrition focus and over the next couple of weeks, we will share the about the healing properties of garlic. Your child was encouraged to learn facts at home, try a new recipe or help cook with garlic in the kitchen.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and please feel free to contact me directly at any time. Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
